This past summer we let you know that Smoothie King signed on to open a new location at 20630 Seneca Meadows Parkway at the Shops at Seneca Meadows development (where Wegmans is located) in Germantown. A permit valued at $200,000 has been now issued for construction to begin on the interior.

Smile 2, the upcoming psychological supernatural horror film written and directed by Parker Finn, will be in theaters on October 18th. Haotian Sun (34, Baltimore, MD) and Pengfei Xue (34, Germantown, MD) were sentenced today for participating in a “sophisticated scheme to defraud Apple Inc. out of millions of dollars’ worth of iPhones.” U.S. District Court Judge Timothy J. Kelly sentenced Sun to 57 months in prison, and sentenced Xue to 54 months in prison.
