Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a townhouse fire on the 10700 block of Lester Street in Wheaton at approximately 2:30am on Sunday morning.
MCPS has shared that starting Saturday, February 1, free tickets will be available for the 11th annual MCPS Dance Showcase, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, February 7, at James Hubert Blake High School (300 Norwood Rd. Silver Spring, MD). In the event of snow, the showcase will be postponed to Monday, February 10.

The Detoit Lions have promoted Gaithersburg native Henry Franklin Fraley Jr. (Hank Fraley) to run game coordinator while also maintaining his previous job of offensive line coach with the team.
