In January 2024, we let you know that Mezeh Mediterranean Grill was coming to 18129 Town Center Dr in Olney. After more than a year, signage has now gone up in the windows as construction is set to begin on the interior of the restaurant.
On Wednesday night, a fire broke out in the garage of a single-family home at 9400 Holbrook Dr. off Falls Road in Potomac. The incident initially began in a detached garage containing two vehicles and quickly extended to the exterior of a nearby house.

Takoma Park Police are investigating a contact shooting that occurred on Wednesday in the 6500 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Police shared that the incident is classified as a contact shooting, meaning the firearm discharged at close range and struck the victim.
Montgomery County has released a new report showing that Black women and infants face significantly worse maternal and infant health outcomes than other groups, including higher rates of severe maternal morbidity, postpartum depression, and infant mortality.
