Back in February we reported that Colesville Presbyterian Church had been victimized by several acts of vandalism over the Black Lives Matter signs and posters the church has displayed on their property.  Unfortunately, the church has again had it’s banner slashed.

Local Police Agencies Address Excessive Exhaust Noise on 355

On the evening on June 8, Maryland State Police, Montgomery County Police, Gaithersburg Police, and Rockville Police formed a joint initiative to combat loud exhaust & excessive speed violations on 355 from Professional Drive to Edmonston Drive.

According to Montgomery County, “the Policing Advisory Commission was created in 2019 by the Montgomery County Council in response to the ongoing public dialogue around policing practices and as an effort to increase community involvement in matters of public safety. The Commission’s mission is to advise the Council on policing matters and recommend policies, programs, legislation, or regulations with regards to policing.


Aspen Hill

Per MCPD:Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the May 7, 2020, homicide of 19-year-old Robert George Dockery (pictured below) that occurred in the Aspen Hill area. Investigators have exhausted possible leads and are urging anyone with information regarding this homicide to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online or via the P3 Tips app. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the homicide suspect(s).
