Poolesville Day 2021 will take place on September 18th this year from 10am-4pm. They are currently looking for sponsors, food vendors, artisan exhibitors, and parade entrants, which you can apply for on the Poolesville Day website.

This one-day FREE event located in Montgomery County is a Poolesville tradition celebrating  more than 25 years of community, fun and entertainment! Poolesville Day is produced by the Poolesville Day Committee, Inc. (PDC) which is comprised of local volunteer residents and is held in mid-September in Poolesville, Maryland each year.

The family-oriented festival attracts over 12,000 visitors to the historic downtown Commons.

  1. Tomorrow (Sunday 5/31) there will be a ceremony in MoCo to honor George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.  The ceremony will take place at Pilgrim Hills Park in Silver Spring from 2:30-4 PM. It is hosted by the group Racial Justice NOW.

The event announcement on the Facebook event page states that the ceremony “will be an opportunity to grieve in healthy way in community with other like minded people.”
