Boca Botanas to Reopen This Weekend
Boca Botanas, located at 239 Muddy Branch Rd in Gaithersburg, will be reopening for dine in service this Friday at 4PM. The Spanish tapas restaurant has been closed since December 31st.

It has been over a year since we let you know about the La Gula Mexicana taking over the old Agrodolce spot in the Milestone Center in Germantown (21030 Frederick Rd Suite J).
Though Agrodolce is missed by many in the community, Diners can take solace in the fact that the new restaurant will be owned and operated by the folks who have brought you Taco Bar (in the gas station in Rio) and Ixtapalapa in Gaithersburg.
Patisserie Manuel in Montgomery Mall to Close on March 28th
French Bakery Patisserie Manuel, located inside of the Montgomery Mall food court, announced on social media Friday that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, March 28th.
Lucky Cat Pizza Co. Now Open at The Block (Pike & Rose)
Lucky Cat Pizza Company, which describes itself as “Za’ with Asian Flair”, opened this past Monday inside of The Block Foodhall & Bar at 967 Rose Ave in North Bethesda.

New Restaurant Coming to Former Mrs. K’s Location
Washington City Paper is reporting that Chris Brown of the Takoma Beverage Co. has signed a lease to take over the former site of Mrs. K’s Tollhouse at 9201 Colesville Rd in Silver Spring.
Tandoori Nights in Bethesda Permanently Closes
Tandoori Nights, located at 7236 Woodmont Ave in Bethesda, has closed. The original location at 106 Market St. in Gaithersburg, remains open.
Big Greek Cafe Hillandale is Now Open!
Big Greek Cafe has become one of the most popular restaurants in MoCo in recent years, having opened four locations across the county (Bethesda, Downtown Silver Spring, Kensington, and Rockville).

On March 5th, Enterprise Rent-A-Car gifted all 80,000 of it’s employees (full and part-time) a $100 gift card to a local restaurant for Employee Appreciation Day. That included 296 of its workers here in Montgomery County.

Tacos Borrachos Coming to Rockville
A brand new food truck named Tacos Borrachos (drunken tacos), will be coming soon to Wilkins Ave. in Rockville. Their signature item will be birria tacos, the popular Mexican style street taco that is served with a side of consommé.
