Montgomery County Public School Bus Stuck in “Sink Hole” This Morning After Water Main Break, No Injuries
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer reports that an MCPS bus got stuck in a “sink hole” this morning in Layhill, likely due to a water main break.
The incident occurred on Leclair Ct near Gunston Ct off of Wagon Way. There were no injuries and the several students on board were safely evacuated.

Fuji Japan Sushi & Teriyaki Grill Coming to Layhill Shopping Center
Back in November we let you know that a new sushi restaurant would be coming to the Layhill Shopping Center (14314 Layhill Road), in between Abraham’s Custom Tailor (next to Sang’s Nail Salon) and Papa Nick’s/Sole D’Italia.
Now we know that the restaurant is Fuji Japan Sushi & Teriyaki Grill. While the name is similar to Fuji Teriyaki, located in the Orchard Center on Cherry Hill Rd., there is no connection between the restaurants.
We spoke with some neighboring businesses who told us that they expect the restaurant to open in the next couple months.
The location was formerly home to Hair Plus, Luisa’s Hair Salon, and more.
