Relative of 16 Year Old Stabbing Suspect Brings Knife to Blair High School the Day After Stabbing Incident

Montgomery Blair High School Principal Renay Johnson sent a letter to parents and students today letting them know that a relative of the 16 year old charged with stabbing a fellow student at the school on Monday, was arrested this morning for bringing a weapon on campus.

16 Year-Old Suspect Arrested for Monday’s Stabbing at Montgomery Blair High School to Be Charged as an Adult

Per MCPD: 

UPDATE:  November 9,  2021 – The juvenile suspect arrested Monday afternoon has been identified as 16-year-old Maycol Coyoy of Silver Spring. He was transported to the Central Processing Unit where he has been charged as an adult. Coyoy is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment
