One Person Injured From Fall at Lake Needwood And Two Rescued on Great Falls Billy Goat Trail Sunday
According to Chief Spoksperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Pete Piringer, there were two different incidents today that required emergency responses.
Flipside Gastro, a new food truck that will be primarily seen at breweries, wineries and distilleries, opened for business on April 3rd.
The truck is run by a local husband and wife and tell us their most popular item so far has been the HOT Chicken Sammie.
The Village Grille, located inside of the Rockville Ice Arena at 50 South Lawn Ct in Rockville, will be heading to court on April 26th for failure to pay rent and repossession of the property.
This stems from the restaurant not paying rent since April of last year, when the ice arena closed due to the pandemic.
Montgomery County Police Vehicle Auction on April 24th
The Montgomery County Department of Police Vehicle Recovery Section will be holding their next vehicle auction on Saturday, April 24th at 9AM.
Pettit Companies has announced the ground breaking of “North Pointe at Flower Hill”, a new 16,000 SF retail and restaurant center located at 18251 Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg. The project is located behind the new Gentleman Jim’s location, which is a sister property to this project and other Flower Hill properties.
We’re told the anchor tenant will be a restaurant with a roof top terrace area for dining. The property will also have outdoor seating, signage, car charging stations, curb side/mobile pickup areas, extensive landscaping, and on-site property management.

Dan Schere at Bethesda Beat reported today that Nando’s Peri-Peri at 4839 Bethesda Ave. will be relocating early next year. Madewell will be taking over the location at 4839 Bethesda Ave.
