Montgomery Parks Adds Digital Counter to Capital Crescent Trail
Montgomery Parks will unveil a real-time, permanent, digital trail counter display on the Capital Crescent Trail, next to Ourisman Honda, in Bethesda, today, April 9, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. The counter will display the number of bicyclists and pedestrians who use the trail daily and annually. The display counts are gathered from an automated trail counter system, which is already installed on the trail

MoCo Humane Society Hosting Stand Up Comedy Event April 20th
The Montgomery County Humane Society will be holding a special virtual stand up comedy night on April 20th at 8pm. 50% of the ticket sales will go directly to the MCHS.
Interfaith Works will be holding a food distribution event this, and every Friday from 11am-1pm at 751 Twinbrook Pkwy. in Rockville.

MoCo Beekeepers Association Announce Bee Impact Grant Award Winner
The Montgomery County Beekeepers Association have announced that Zachary Lamas is the 2021 recipient of their Bee Impact Grant Award for his work on “Nano-Colonies”.
The webinar (April 12th) and practice session (April 13th) are both free to attend, but registration is required. Everyone who attends both the webinar and practice session will receive a free $25 gas gift card.
