Champions Sports Bar, owned by Jennifer Garcia and local radio personality Yernandy Rijo, will open in Silver Spring this Friday, 10/23 at 6pm. The bar is located at 9433 Georgia Avenue, in the former home of Action House Vape & Hookah, in the same strip at La Casa Del Mofongo.
The bar/restaurant offers more than 10 TVs to enjoy all sports available. The menu consists of traditional “bar food” with a Latin twist. Some of the items included are:

Per Montgomery County:
New parking rates at Montgomery County-operated garages, parking lots and street meters in Downtown Silver Spring will go into effect beginning on Monday, Nov. 2, and will be implemented in stages over the course of the month. The Montgomery County Council adopted the parking rates as part of the Fiscal Year 2021 budget process.

After appearing on Broadway shows, commercials, and multiple television shows in the 80s, Patricia Richardson got her big break when she landed the role of Jill Taylor on Home Improvement as a last minute replacement. The role led to Richardson receiving four Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. While working on Home Improvement in 1994, she co-hosted the Emmys with Ellen DeGeneres. TV Guide also named Jill Taylor the 7th best TV Mom of all-time.
