From MCDOT via Friends of White Flint

During the past week we have seen considerable rain. MCDOT is currently monitoring weather conditions which will impact the reopening date of August 23, 2021. The final paving activities that must take place prior to reopening the Executive Boulevard/Old Georgetown Road intersection are weather dependent.

The intersection. has been closed since May.

The weather forecast this week continues to call for rain which creates a potential for delay.  We are doing our best to have the intersection reopened in a timely manner.

Based on the current weather predictions, the anticipated re-opening date for the intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Executive Boulevard is on or about Tuesday, August 31st.
