Back in May of 2021 we let you know that Chadol Korean BBQ would be coming to Research Row in Rockville.

The new Korean BBQ restaurant, which is located at 1403 Research Blvd, Suite A-8, opened last month according to Bethesda Beat.

As of now it’s website is pretty bare, but Google offers a menu that consists of a variety of appetizers, a la carte meat dishes, combos, and more. It can be seen below.

Chadol Korean BBQ is Coming to Research Row in Rockville

Rockville is getting a new Korean BBQ restaurant, this time at Research Row (1403 Research Blvd) Suite A-8).

Construction has already begun, but we wouldn’t expect the restaurant to open until late 2021. It is located next to Robek’s, across from One Life Fitness and the currently-under-construction Grill Kabob.

In addition to Chadol coming to Rockville, we still have New York-based Jongro BBQ coming to Wheaton and NoVa-based Firepan BBQ coming to Downtown Silver Spring when it comes to nee Korean BBQ restaurants.

Grill Kabob Making Some Progress at Research Row

Back in January of 2020 we let you know that the fast-casual restaurant would be coming to Research Row (1409 Research Blvd).

Today we checked in and saw signage has been up up and some progress has been made with the construction of the new location (see photos below).

Grill Kabob is a local fast-casual chain that offers traditional Afghan food. Its first location was in Springfield Mall in Northern Virginia in 1998. Since then, the local chain has grown to over 15 locations.

We have not been given an opening date, but we now expect a late summer or fall opening.
