North Bethesda

Little Miner Taco is opening a new stall at The Block in Pike & Rose! We stopped by today for a soft opening event to check out some of what they’re planning to offer.  Their grand opening is tomorrow, July 15 at 2 PM– they have announced that the first 100 customers will get a free T-Shirt!

Little Miner Taco currently has a location in Brentwood, MD as well as a traveling truck that hosts pop up events all around the DMV. Little Miner is best known for their Birria De Res Quesadillas which have braised beef and cheese along with a signature beef consome dipping sauce. These  will appear at their location at The Block, along with a variety of exclusive new items.

Park Potomac

Back in April, Attman’s Deli announced that they had closed their Cabin John location and were planning to move into a new spot, somewhere nearby.  At the time of the announcement, no official location was disclosed.

There have been rumors that they might potentially move into Park Potomac, in the spot previously occupied by Zoe’s kitchen.  Today, we heard that there appeared to be people loading furniture and equipment from an Attman’s truck into that space.

Bethesda

D.C. native bagel shop Call Your Mother is coming to Bethesda. They will be operating out of a repurposed trolley parked on Old Georgetown Road near Suburban Hospital.

The trolly boasts the classic bubble gum pink and bright teal that is featured through Call Your Mother locations.  They plan to open within a few weeks once all of the permits are approved, and will be parked in this spot for the foreseeable future, but at some point might be available for events and possibly moving to another location. They will be serving bulk bagels and bagel sandwiches, just like their other locations. As of right now, there is no outdoor seating.
