Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at the Diamond Auto Clinic located at 110 E Diamond Ave in Gaithersburg around 6pm on Saturday, April 16.
Firefighters arrived to heavy fire conditions and a partial roof colapse, according to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer. The fire originated in a vehicle in the shop’s repair bay.
Nearby buildings were evacuated and there we no injuries reported.
Around 65 firefighters responded to the scene.
As of 7pm, E Diamond Ave in Gaithersburg is currently blocked. We will post an update as more information becomes available.
