Montgomery County Seeking Nominations for the 2022 Women Making History Award

For Immediate Release: Monday, December 6, 2021

The public is invited to nominate community members for the Montgomery Women and Montgomery County Commission for Women 2022 Women Making History Award. Nominate a woman you know who is making a difference in Montgomery County!

This award is given in recognition of outstanding women in Montgomery County making significant contributions in their vocation and in our community. To be eligible, nominees should exemplify one or more of the following:

  • Unselfish leadership and hard work in their field
  • Exceptional leadership in civic activities
  • Developing or supporting programs resulting in positive social action
  • Inspiration to others as a role model

The nominee must reside or be employed in Montgomery County. High school seniors and college students can also be nominated for the award. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 20, 2022 by 11:59 p.m.

Please use the link to complete the nomination form. The nomination form must be completed in its entirety to be considered. Nominations must be submitted online.

Recipients of the Women Making History award will be recognized and featured during Women’s History Month in March, and again at a panel discussion (details to follow).
