Last April we let you know that IHOP’s new concept, Flip’d by IHOP, would be taking over the old Asian Bistro Cafe location at 8537 Georgia Avenue between Panera and Red Lobster, according to the PetersonCos website.
In a social media post from Governor Larry Hogan this morning, it was revealed that Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan has tested positive for Covid-19.
“As part of our weekly testing regimen, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. Having been vaccinated and boosted, she is only experiencing mild symptoms. She will quarantine at Government House. I received negative rapid and PCR tests.
The National Weather Service has canceled the Winter Weather Advisory for C/SW MoCo, but the advisory remains in effect for NW MoCo until 11am.
The advisory now calls for up to an inch of snow to accumulate on grassy surfaces.

The National Weather Service has once again slightly increased its latest maps. About two thirds of MoCo is in the 2-3” range with a third in the 1-2” range. The “reasonable worst case scenario” map now shows up to 4 inches possible.

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot announced today that the filing and payment deadline for 2021 Maryland state individual income taxes has been extended by three months to July 15, 2022.
The Federal income tax deadline for residents is April 18.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for MoCo starting 6am Thursday morning and going until 1pm (4am until 1pm for Upper MoCo).
The latest National Weather Service maps show most of MoCo in the 1-2” range with the upper third of the county in the 2-3” range. The “reasonable worst case scenario” map shows 3 inches for the entire county.
