Damage is estimated to be ~$10K and there were no injuries reported.
#Protip: Planters are NOT ashtrays.
Potting soil is not dirt. Many people don’t think of potted plants as fire hazards which may be why so many smokers try to extinguish their butts in the pots. #DYK the soil is packed w/ flammable materials that can easily ignite? @mcfrs says… https://t.co/gj2IerXnt1 pic.twitter.com/ecfZfNwGG5— Pete Piringer (@mcfrsPIO) April 10, 2023
