TotSwap Consignment Sale, a Local Pop-Up Event That Offers Sustainable and Budget-Friendly Shopping for Families, is Moving to Rockville

After 17 years hosting this event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, TotSwap will be making the move further down county to a new location in Federal Plaza– 1776 East Jefferson Street. Owner and MoCo resident Robyn Rutland has announced its upcoming pop-up event from April 20 to April 23, 2023 on the back side of the plaza, street level, under TJ Maxx.
This year’s event coincides with Earth Day, and TotSwap is dedicated to promoting sustainable shopping and responsible consumerism. For over 17 years this pop-up event has offered local families an opportunity to sell their gently used children’s clothing, toys, and gear. Families can also shop for high-quality pre-owned items at a fraction of the retail price. “TotSwap Consignment Sale is an excellent way for families to save money and shop sustainably,” said Robyn Rutland, the owner of TotSwap Consignment Sale. “Our event provides an opportunity for families to declutter their homes and swap out their gently used items for items that are new to them.”
TotSwap offers families the opportunity to declutter their homes and earn extra cash by selling their gently used items. Consignors can earn up to 75% of the sale price of their items and can also donate their unsold items to local charities. By also shopping at TotSwap Consignment Sale, families can take advantage of the savings while supporting hundreds of local families. Swapping gently used items for new-to-them items is not only budget-friendly, but it also helps to reduce waste and the demand for new products.
This year’s event is expected to draw a large crowd, and TotSwap encourages families to sell out their gently used items and shop sustainably.
