A Silver Spring resident is $136,056 after purchasing a winning lottery ticket from the Exxon gas station located at 11310 Georgia Ave in Wheaton. Full story below courtesy of the Maryland Lottery:

“Yesica Moya Jovel comes by her interest in the Maryland Lottery naturally.  Her mother has been a loyal Lottery player for years, and Yesica has learned the ropes by watching her play. The 27-year-old woman bought her own FAST PLAY ticket last week and walked away with a $136,056 progressive jackpot prize on the Casino Royale Slots game.

The El Salvadorian construction worker found her ticket at the Wheaton Exxon station located at 11310 Georgia Ave in Silver Spring. Yesica purchased one $10 ticket, and then tried checking it on the self-check scanner, but the screen kept coming up blank. That’s when she summoned the store manager who told her that she won a big prize and had to take her ticket to Lottery headquarters to claim. With her winnings, Yesica plans to buy a new house to share with her family. Wheaton Exxon also gets to celebrate as they’ll receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the $136,056 winning FAST PLAY ticket.”
