On March 17, 2024, shortly after 4:00 am, the Rockville City Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Rockville Pike.
According to police, “An adult male, from Rockville, was located and was found to have sustained two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds during the incident. After being treated by Montgomery County Fire Rescue, the victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The Rockville City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. There is no information to believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
