Montgomery County Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at a Bank of America ATM in the 13700 block of Connecticut Avenue in Silver Spring.
According to police, the suspect approached the victim, who was attempting to put money into an ATM, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. When the victim attempted stop the suspect, the suspect assaulted him and left the scene on a red and black scooter.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 25-years-old, with a scruffy beard, and wearing a red and black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
