“Emergency Cow Surgery” Saves Stuffed Animal and Reveals Lost Diamond Ring

You may remember Mary Ann “Doc” McStuffins ans the MoCo resident who performed emergency surgery on a local teddy bear (he has fully recovered and is doing just fine). The good doctor is back at it again, this time saving a beloved stuffed cow.

“I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Doc McStuffins for fixing up my, I mean, [my daughter’s] beloved Cow. There was no one else we would have chosen for the job. She puts her whole heart into her work. I’ve had Cow for 30 years and it brings me so much joy that Josie has adopted him and formed such a bond.”

The cow used to have a hole in his side where the owner would keep little mementos– photographs, ticket stubs, all sorts of things she wanted to remember. He became a time capsule of sorts and the owner thought she’d cleaned most of the contents out, but when Mary Ann de-stuffed him, she presented her with an old diamond ring a boyfriend had given her for Christmas in 2002! The owner’s daughter decided to adopt that as well.

“Thanks, Doc! I’m sure we’ll be back soon. PS: If you have a patient in need of care, don’t hesitate to reach out! You won’t regret it. She goes above and beyond with the kids to make the whole experience super fun.” Mary Ann McStuffins teaches the “You Too Can Sew” for children and adults.
