Alert Montgomery has issued a ‘Severe Traffic Alert’ for a traffic incident that closes both directions of Whites Ferry Rd.(MD 107) between Sugarland and Partnership Rd.
Per the alert, “Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.” Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer shared at 6:19pm that all lanes of Whites Ferry Road and Partnership Rd., at the ‘S’ curve were blocked and that one person was pinned.
In subsequent updates, Piringer shared that two vehicles were involved in the collision and that the pinned driver was extricated from the vehicle with priority 1/life threatening injuries. White’s Ferry Rd. is expected to remain closed for crash reconstruction.
