A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a stabbing incident at the intersection of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring on Thursday afternoon. This incident, which was not random but arose from a dispute between the parties involved, is under active investigation by Montgomery County Police Department’s 3rd District officers.
Surveillance cameras in the area significantly contributed to the investigation by providing valuable evidence and a clear view of the events, according to Commander Jason Cokinos. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and has been transported for medical treatment. Authorities have secured the scene as they continue their investigation.
