Free Wings For a Year For First 100 Guests in Line at Montgomery County’s Second Buffalo Wild Wings GO Location

Buffalo Wild Wings GO is set to open its second Montgomery County location this week, bringing its takeout-focused concept to Kensington. The new restaurant, located at 10518 Connecticut Ave. in the new Crossroads at Kensington shopping center, will celebrate its Grand Opening on Wednesday, September 24th at 11am.

To mark the occasion, the first 100 guests in line will receive free wings for a year, a promotion that’s become a hallmark of Buffalo Wild Wings GO openings across the country. The Kensington location follows the opening of Montgomery County’s first Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Gaithersburg, which debuted last month.

Unlike the brand’s traditional sit-down sports bar format, which has Montgomery County locations in Gaithersburg and Rockville, Buffalo Wild Wings GO is built for convenience, offering a streamlined experience with counter service, limited seating, and a focus on pickup and delivery orders. Customers can still expect the chain’s wings, tenders, and sauces… just without the full-scale bar and dining room.

Buffalo Wild Wings launched the “GO” concept nationwide in 2020, aiming to meet the growing demand for takeout and delivery. Since then, the brand has expanded across the U.S., and the Kensington opening continues that trend here in Montgomery County. Additional BWW GO locations are coming to Montgomery County in Burtonsville and Olney.
