Buffalo Wild Wings GO is expanding its footprint in Montgomery County with the opening of a new Burtonsville location, marking the brand’s third delivery/carryout-focused concept in the county.
The new Buffalo Wild Wings GO is now open at 15500B Old Columbia Pike in the Burtonsville Village Center, taking over the space previously occupied by Subway. The concept is designed around takeout and delivery, offering a streamlined menu and ordering experience compared to the company’s traditional sit-down restaurants.
The Burtonsville opening follows two recent Montgomery County launches. Buffalo Wild Wings GO made its county debut in August with a Gaithersburg location at 16256 Frederick Road, at the corner of Route 355 and Shady Grove Road. That was followed in September by a Kensington location at 10518 Connecticut Avenue in the new Crossroads at Kensington shopping center.
Expansion in the county is not stopping there. A fourth Buffalo Wild Wings GO location is scheduled to open soon in Olney at 3231 Spartan Road, in the space formerly home to Three Points Cycles. Buffalo Wild Wings first introduced the GO concept in Georgia in 2020 as a scaled-down version of its traditional restaurant, focusing almost entirely on pickup and third-party delivery rather than dine-in service.
The growth of the GO model locally comes as the company adjusts its broader Montgomery County presence. In December, Buffalo Wild Wings closed one of its larger full-service restaurants at 33 Maryland Avenue, Suite C, at The Square in Rockville. The chain still operates a full-service location in Gaithersburg at 668 Clopper Road.
