Chick-fil-A Montrose Crossing Sets March 5 Grand Reopening Date

Chick-fil-A at Montrose Crossing has announced new details surrounding its reopening following a temporary closure for renovations earlier this year.

According to a recent update shared by the restaurant, the Montrose Crossing location will officially celebrate its grand reopening on Thursday, March 5, earlier than the previously projected mid-March timeframe. The restaurant is located at 12001 Rockville Pike in the Montrose Crossing shopping center in North Bethesda.

To mark the reopening, Chick-fil-A will host a full day of activities, giveaways, and promotions. Festivities will begin in the morning starting at 6:30am, with the first 100 guests receiving a gift bag and an opportunity to enter a fishbowl drawing for a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year.

Midday activities are scheduled from 11am to 2pm, when guests can spin a prize wheel for free Chick-fil-A food and merchandise. Participation requires having the Chick-fil-A app downloaded and ready to scan at the entrance.

Evening festivities will run from 5pm to 8pm, with guests encouraged to dress like a cow to receive a free Chick-fil-A bounce-back card while supplies last. The Chick-fil-A Cow mascot is also expected to be on-site for photo opportunities throughout the event.

As previously reported, the restaurant temporarily closed on January 17, 2026, for its first major renovation since opening in October 2013. While specific renovation details were not released, similar projects at other Montgomery County locations have included kitchen upgrades, interior modernization, and operational improvements.
