Chido’s, Featuring its Viral ‘Patron Tree’, Now Open

Chido’s Tex-Mex Grill, located in the space that was recently home to The Eleanor at 931 Ellsworth Dr. in Downtown Silver Spring, is currently holding its soft opening.

The restaurant opened its first location in Laurel (14600 Laurel Pl.) in 2016 and offers a standard Tex-Mex menu with their twist on a variety of familiar favorites. At the Laurel location, the restaurant offers a brunch menu on weekends and an extensive drink menu. Recently, Taste MoCo shared a video of Chido’s ‘Patron Tree’ that has been viewed by over a million people on Instagram. More on Chido’s below, per its website:

According to Source of the Spring, the restaurant will hold its official grand opening on October 1.
