The Creek Lodge Bar & Grill, located at 5566 Norbeck Rd in the Rock Creek Village Center, has announced that it will permanently close on Monday, November 3.
The restaurant opened in October 2022 and is operated by the group behind Brews & Barrels (Gaithersburg), The Clarks Lodge (Clarksburg), and the recently opened Urbana Lodge. The Lodge concepts are known for their rustic lodge-themed décor, including stuffed bears, foxes, and deer antlers, along with a menu featuring dishes such as Clark’s Ribeye, Atlantic Salmon, Grilled Lamb Chops, Fish & Chips, Jambalaya, and Baby Back Ribs. The restaurants also offer weekly live music, happy hours, and Sunday brunch.
Representatives tell us the restaurant will open at a new Rockville location sometime next year. The restaurant issued the following statement on Sunday afternoon:
“To Our Valued Friends, Neighbors, and Community, It is with a heavy yet thankful heart that we announce The Creek Lodge Bar will be closing its doors today, November 2nd. Since opening in October 2021, it has been an absolute honor and a privilege serving each and every one of you. Your support has made our time here truly special.
While this chapter is ending, we’re excited for the future of this location – Full On Crafts Eats and Drinks will be replacing us soon, and we wish them the very best as they join the neighborhood.
We hope to see you all again very soon at our sister locations, where the spirit and hospitality continue:
• The Clark’s Lodge in Clarksburg
• The Urbana Lodge in Ijamsville
• Brews & Barrels in the Kentlands
Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives and your memories over the last few years.
With Deepest Gratitude,
The Creek Lodge Bar Team”
According to The Creek Lodge team, popular local craft sandwich shop Full On is expected to take over the space. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
