A 552-unit luxury apartment community in North Bethesda has changed hands in a major $180 million deal, according to a BisNow report.
The Grand Residences at North Bethesda, located at 5801 Nicholson Lane, was sold to Laurel-based investment and management company Orlo, according to Montgomery County property records. The transaction took place on April 21. Orlo also announced that it has taken over management of the property, adding the community to its growing portfolio.
In a statement, the company said The Grand Residences offers a distinct living experience, highlighting its “thoughtful finishes, generous spaces, and a location that puts everything within reach.” The firm pointed to North Bethesda’s continued growth as one of the most sought-after areas in the DC region, noting that the property sits at the center of that momentum.
Orlo added that for both current and future residents, its management will focus on responsive service, well-maintained common areas, and maintaining the standard the community was built to deliver.
