A $140,000 permit has recently been approved for the interior fit-out of the future TOUS Les JOURS bakery at 3333 Olney Sandy Spring Road in Olney.
The new bakery is taking over the former Five Guys space, which closed in December after several years in the shopping center. At the time, Five Guys told customers the brand planned to return to the Olney area in the future.
TOUS Les JOURS is known for its French-Asian inspired bakery concept, offering a wide selection of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts that are baked fresh in-store daily. The café also serves coffee, espresso drinks, and teas, making it a popular destination for both grab-and-go customers and those looking to sit and relax.
The Olney location will become the bakery’s third in Montgomery County, joining locations inside New Grand Mart at 13069 Wisteria Drive in Germantown and at Rio in Gaithersburg, where it replaced the longtime Corner Bakery. An official opening timeframe for the Olney location has not yet been announced, but the latest news suggests the French-Asian bakery could be on track to open by the end of the year.
