Spirit Halloween will return to Westfield Wheaton for the 2026 Halloween season, once again taking over the former Party City space at 11006 Veirs Mill Road.
The seasonal retailer has not yet announced an opening date for the Wheaton location, but it opened in early August last year. Spirit Halloween stores typically begin opening in late summer ahead of Halloween, offering costumes, decorations, animatronics, makeup, accessories and other seasonal merchandise.
The Wheaton store is one of three Spirit Halloween locations currently planned for Montgomery County this season. As previously reported, Spirit Halloween will return to Congressional Plaza in Rockville. The retailer is also making its debut at Clarksburg Premium Outlets this year. The Clarksburg location could effectively replace the Gaithersburg-area Spirit Halloween that operated at Rio in recent years, as that former seasonal space is now being prepared for Orange Pocket.
