A collision involving a construction vehicle is causing significant delays on I-270 north near Montrose Road in North Bethesda on Monday afternoon.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer, the construction vehicle overturned in a property-damage-only collision, sending debris across multiple lanes of the highway. No injuries were reported.
As of approximately 12:05pm, most lanes of I-270 north were closed in the area, with traffic delays extending back into I-495. Drivers should expect significant delays while crews work to clear the vehicle and debris from the roadway.
