Founded in 2002, Owl Moon Raptor Center is a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitation center specializing in birds of prey. Its mission is to rescue and rehabilitate injured, sick, and orphaned birds of prey and return them to the wild in sound, athletic condition; and to educate the public about raptors in the process.  “We have been a licensed non-profit organization since 2014. Owl Moon is located in Boyds, Maryland and serves the entire state of Maryland.”

The event will allow visitors to “Experience Adventures with Raptors, Raptor’s Eye, Secret Garden Birds & Bees, activities for kids, merchandise, a live raffle, releases, and more! Entry is free.” It will include live raptor displays and family activities near the Discovery Center, with talks on ospreys and other local raptors (and more live birds) at Black Hill’s SEED Classroom. Additional activities:
