Mega Millions is introducing a new format on April 8, featuring a ticket price increase from $2 to $5, a higher starting jackpot of $50 million, and larger prizes at all levels, including a minimum prize increase from $2 to $10. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, the Montgomery County Board of Education voted unanimously to tentatively adopt MCPS’ Operating Budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026.
Per MCPS: Out of an abundance of caution, all MCPS schools and offices will operate on a Code Yellow two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a vehicle fire in front of Wendy’s (14000 Georgia Ave.) near Connecticut Ave. in Aspen Hill.
Due to the weather, the delivery of the exhibit was delayed reaching Wheaton. The exhibit will now open to the public on Wednesday, February 19.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 9pm this evening (Wednesday) until 10am Thursday. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), “total sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch are expected.”
