The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on Georgia Avenue in Aspen Hill.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is conducting a death investigation following a single-vehicle collision that occurred Saturday morning in the 9800 block of Brookridge Court in Montgomery Village.
Attorney General Anthony Brown and a coalition of 19 states filed a lawsuit in April 2025 challenging the U.S. Department of Education’s new conditions on federal K-12 funding, arguing they unlawfully threaten funding for states that maintain diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
A federal grand jury in Baltimore indicted Eric Tataw, a Cameroonian national residing in Gaithersburg, on charges of conspiring to support violent separatist militias in Cameroon and threatening civilians. The indictment alleges that Tataw used social media to incite and fund attacks, and he has surrendered for an initial court appearance. (more…)
