The seven-year-old child that was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday morning at a bus stop at the intersection of Grosvenor Lane and King Charles Way in Bethesda has died as a result of his injuries, according to a report by Caitlynn Peetz.
The child was a student at Ashburton Elementary School in Bethesda. He was waiting at the bus stop Wednesday morning with his father and 18-month-old sibling when the driver of a Honda Accord left the roadway and struck all three.
The City of Rockville will be hosting “Skate Jam” on Saturday, April 16 from 9am-5pm at the new Rockville Skate Park (355 Martins Lane).

A 16-year-old has been charged as an adult after an incident yesterday which resulted in Clarksburg High School and Rocky Hill Middle School to go on lockdown for several hours. Details below courtesy of MCPD:

Local civil rights icon William Harvey Zeigler has passed away at the age of 102. Zeigler was a lifelong Montgomery County resident, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Montgomery County Human Rights Hall of Fame.
