Current Kentlands Starbucks to Close Permanently Tonight, New Location to Open on Thursday 12/31
The new drive-thru Starbucks in the Kentlands was approved by the city of Gaithersburg back in 2018, but it took a little time for construction to get started.
When construction did start, it didn’t take long for it to be completed, as the new location is now ready to go on the far side of the Lowe’s parking lot.
We have heard consistent rumblings of a local coffee shop possibly taking over the old location, but nothing concrete.

I wonder if this location will be 24 hours like the one in First Field Shopping Center.
