Dutch Family Restaurant Announces Reopening Date

The Lancaster County Dutch Market announced this morning that Dutch Family Restaurant will be reopening on May 6th.

Dutch Family Restaurant, which is located inside the Dutch market at 12613 Wisteria Dr. in Germantown, temporarily closed their doors back in December after indoor dining restrictions were imposed.

A week before the restaurant reopens, Dutch Family will be hosting its annual pig roast on April 29, 30 & May 1 where they’ll be selling pulled pork, fresh cut fries, coleslaw, baked beans and homemade root beer.

Dutch Family Restaurant is located in the Lancaster County Dutch Market in Germantown. They have a large menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve loaded fruit waffles, omelettes, sandwiches and wraps, and delicious home cooked meals. They are open Thursday (10am-6pm), Friday (9am-7pm) and Saturday (9am-3pm) each week. JR and Ruthie have owned Dutch Family Restaurant for the past 15+ years. Ruthie started working at the restaurant when she was 16, and then in 2005, Ruthie and her husband, JR bought the restaurant. They also own Beautiful Home Furniture and Design across the aisle from the restaurant. By way of Lancaster, PA they have so enjoyed being a part of the community of Montgomery County.
