The last time we stopped by we had the Red, White & Blue waffle topped with their homemade caramel sauce (the servers recommendation) and it’s definitely one of the best waffles in MoCo!
Dutch Family Restaurant is located in the Lancaster County Dutch Market in Germantown. They have a large menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve loaded fruit waffles, omelettes, sandwiches and wraps, and delicious home cooked meals. They are open Thursday (10am-6pm), Friday (9am-7pm) and Saturday (9am-3pm) each week. JR and Ruthie have owned Dutch Family Restaurant for the past 15+ years. Ruthie started working at the restaurant when she was 16, and then in 2005, Ruthie and her husband, JR bought the restaurant. They also own Beautiful Home Furniture and Design across the aisle from the restaurant. By way of Lancaster, PA they have so enjoyed being a part of the community of Montgomery County.
