El Aguila is opening a second location in the Colesville Center.
The restaurant currently has a location on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring and offers Salvadoran and Tex-Mex cuisine.
Last October a notice for the restaurant’s alcohol license was posted in the old Patches location (Near Greek Village), but soon after the notice was moved to other side of the shopping center.
An El Aguila banner has now been placed on the newer building, which will be home to the restaurant.
In other Colesville Center news, Ninja Sushi is listed as a tenant in the shopping center brochure. Ninja Sushi was the first restaurant slated to take over the old Patches location.
