Back in November we reported that Olney Crab House was coming soon to the location that used to be home to The Olney Tavern (18200 Georgia Avenue).
Since then, we’ve received many questions regarding the location since “for lease” signs were placed back on the building.
Yesterday we were able to confirm that the Olney Crab House is, in fact, still coming soon. The lease has been signed and the restaurant is expected to “open soon.”
We’re told that ownership has been successful with other seafood/crab restaurants in the past, so we look forward to seeing this happen!

Great for crab lovers and am one. Please make sure rats are not hanging around. I sure have seen them around Popeye’s.

I hope we can expect some good fried fish along with that as well as oysters and clams.
