Beyond MoCo

Whether it’s in the middle of winter, or on a hot summer day, there’s something extra satisfying about a great scoop of Ice Cream. But this ice cream, you can only get your hands on once every couple weeks. And as soon as it drops, it’s usually gone within 30 minutes. Event

General admission is $25 per person, which includes chili tastings. Free Admission for kids under 18, Police Officers and their Family is provided by MCPF). All proceeds benefit the Foundation’s mission to strengthen community-police relationships, support officers wellness, and enhance public safety initiatives across Montgomery County.

In addition to delicious chili, attendees can enjoy local craft beer from Lone Oak Brewery, family activities, and opportunities to meet and interact with Montgomery County police officers in a fun, relaxed setting.


Chevy Chase

Law enforcement agencies working with the Maryland Car Rally Task Force disrupted multiple illegal car rallies overnight, including activity in Silver Spring and Chevy Chase, as part of a coordinated enforcement effort across the National Capital Region.

MoCo Government

Montgomery County’s Chief Administrative Officer Richard Madaleno shared a parking advisory Saturday night as snow is expected to fall from Sunday into Monday, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect for roughly half of the county and a Winter Weather Advisory for the remaining areas.
