The Jenkins family has announced the upcoming opening of “The Wolfsville Stop,” a new convenience store and carry-out located at 12487 Wolfsville Rd., Wolfsville, MD. Set to open its doors in early April, this family-run establishment aims to become a cornerstone of the local community.
Dimitrios Grigoropoulos of Gaithersburg, MD, born in August of 1946 in Fourna Eyrytanias, Greece, passed away peacefully earlier this week, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, resilience, and unwavering kindness within the Montgomery County community he cherished. As a beloved figure known for his contributions to local businesses, including Tippy’s Taco House in Gaithersburg and Traville Barbershop in Rockville, Dimitrios touched the lives of many in the area.

The MoCo Epic is a festival celebrating mountain biking, natural surface trails, and the community that makes this region a great place to ride! 2026 marks the 16th anniversary of the MoCo Epic.
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, on Tuesday, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, the Honorable Margaret Schweitzer sentenced Wenhui Sun, 35, of Lake Arbor, CA, to 20 years in prison, suspending all but 6.5 years to serve, followed by five years of supervised probation. Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by County Councilmember Andrew Friedson and Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) leadership to announce the expansion of the MCPD Drone as First Responder Program to the Bethesda area at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12 at the Public Safety Headquarters.

Montgomery Parks, with a $7.5 million federal grant, is implementing traffic calming and road-crossing improvements at parks and trails to enhance pedestrian and cyclist safety.
