Six New Restaurants Coming to Wheaton
Wheaton, which already has quite a diverse restaurant scene, will be welcoming six new restaurants in the coming months.
More information on each restaurant is available in each link below.
Jollibee, a Filipino fast food chain that offers items such as Chicken Joy (a fried chicken dish), the Yumburger (the house burger), Jolly spaghetti (a sweet spaghetti dish that includes ground beef, hot dog pieces, and ham), and many other products that are a mix between traditional Filipino fare and American-influenced cuisine, will open at Wheaton Mall in December.
Frank’s Burgers, a “fresh and local burger place that doesn’t cost a fortune” is coming to 11265 Triangle Lane and should be open soon.
America’s Best Wings, a national wing chain, is coming to Wheaton Triangle (11242 Georgia Avenue) in the spot that was home to H&H Discounters.
Hook & Reel, a Cajun seafood restaurant and bar, will open at Wheaton Mall in 2021. The chain was started in nearby Lanham in 2013 and has rapidly expanded across the country, including the first MoCo location in Gaithersburg earlier this year.
Two Hands Corn Dogs, a Korean corn dog restaurant that allows you to choose from Nashville Hot Seasoning, Sweet Ranch, Rice Puffs, Potato Cubes, as well as traditional hot dog condiments, is coming to Wheaton Mall in early 2021.
Jongro BBQ, a popular Korean BBQ restaurant in New York, is expanding to Maryland with this upcoming location at Wheaton Mall. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of cuts that are not found in most other Korean restaurants.
I feel checking out every on the list except frank’s burgers because it’s a 5 guys ripoff.
