Aldon Management has sold two apartment buildings, 8200 Wisconsin Ave. (built in 1967) and the Middlebrooke Apartments at 5015 Battery Lane (built in 1962), to Corner Lot Advisors for a combined $85.6 million. 8200 Wisconsin sold for $63.3 million and Middlebrooke Apartments sold for $22.3 million, per land records.

Update: As of 8:42am, all lanes have reopened. 

The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security (OEMHS) issued the following alert at 6:44am on Tuesday, April 2: “Overturned tractor trailer blocks the left two lanes of the Inner Loop of I-495 just before Exit 39 (River Rd/MD 190). This will be an extended incident that may persist through the morning commute. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.” (more…)


For over a year, former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder’s Potomac home was the highest priced home for sale in Montgomery County. Earlier this month, it came off the market after it was announced that Snyder donated it to the American Cancer Society, and a new home now takes the crown-  9305 Inglewood Ct. in Potomac.

$37 million first phase of the Westbard Square redevelopment project has signed new tenants with a few businesses already open in the 23-acre project at Westbard Ave. and Ridgefield Rd. Overall, the development will include 148,000SF of retail as well as Kensington Senior Living– a 116-unit assisted living facility that is currently under construction.
