Montgomery Parks has announced a public scoping meeting hosted by The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) about the Little Falls Parkway Improvements project. The meeting will take place online from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and will include a brief presentation and discussion of the project.

Wood Acres Elementary School at 5800 Cromwell Dr in Bethesda is currently in a shelter in place due to police activity.

Playa Bowls has opened its fifth Montgomery County location at 8525 Chevy Chase Lake Terrace in the Chevy Chase Lake development.
