The highest-priced new build in Bethesda (6616 Fernwood Ct.) has sold for $7.55 million. According to Maryland Newsletters, the home was completed last month and traded soon after completion after sitting on the infill market listings for approximately one year. DIG (formerly Dig Inn) is coming soon to Maryland as it plans to open a restaurant at 4733 Elm St. in Bethesda. DIG will be opening in the space that was most recently home to Mexicue until 2022 and previously home to Gusto Farm to Street until 2020 and Kraze Burger until 2014.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to Whole Foods Market at 5269 River Road in Bethesda for the report of a a vehicle into the building on Sunday, January 14.
Bethesda fine-dining staple Duck Duck Goose was replaced by new concept Good Ducking Burger at 7929 Norfolk Ave. in September. The restaurant is now closed, following the expiration of the lease at the location, according to owner/operator Ashish Alfred.
