Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to the shooting death of an 87-year-old man in Potomac.

DC Water announced on Thursday that crews have reached the damaged section of the Potomac Interceptor that collapsed January 19 along Clara Barton Parkway near I-495 and the C&O Canal.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around 2pm on Thursday to the Burma Road Trail off MacArthur Boulevard in the Potomac area for an injured hiker who fell approximately 30 feet down an embankment.

Update: The person in crisis inside a residence near the 10100 block of Snowhill Lane has been taken into custody and transported to an area hospital. No injuries have been reported.
