Chick-fil-A’s experimental “Little Blue Menu” test kitchen, located at 7242 Baltimore Ave. in College Park, Maryland, will lay off 91 employees effective May 14 as part of a planned remodel, according to a Work Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state on March 14.

Attorney General Anthony G. Brown has joined a coalition of 21 attorneys general in suing the Trump administration to stop the dismantling of three federal agencies— the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Minority Business Development Agency, and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service—arguing that the Executive Order violates the Constitution and harms public services. The Frederick Police Department arrested 27-year-old Tevis Denver Findlater of Silver Spring for assault and drug possession after responding to a disturbance on March 31 in the 900 block of W. Patrick Street. Officers found a female victim with severe injuries and seized approximately 30 grams of suspected cocaine from Findlater, who is being held without bond.

The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) announced the arrest of three suspects linked to an organized retail theft operation targeting Ulta stores across multiple jurisdictions, including Montgomery County, with over $190,000 in reported losses. The arrests, made in Anne Arundel County on March 24, followed a months-long investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, leading to charges of armed robbery, grand larceny, and other offenses. Church’s Texas Chicken (formerly Church’s Chicken) is coming soon to 7722 Harford Rd. in Parkville, MD, according to a report by Randy Lerman. The new location will replace the former family-owned Greek restaurant, Pita Pan, marking the first Church’s Chicken in Maryland.
